# Quick Start

Get started with Streamlock in under 5 minutes.

## Prerequisites

Before you begin, you'll need:

1. **A Solana Wallet**: We support Phantom, Solflare, and other popular wallets
2. **SOL for Transactions**: SOL for purchases and transaction fees

## Step 1: Connect Your Wallet

1. Go to [app.streamlock.fun](https://app.streamlock.fun)
2. Click **Connect Wallet**
3. Select your wallet provider
4. Approve the connection request

## Step 2: Browse Tokens

1. Navigate to the **Markets** page
2. Browse available tokens
3. Click on any token to see its details:
   * Current price
   * Target price and current milestone
   * Price progress toward target
   * Current phase (GRIND, FREEZE, or UNLOCK)
   * Your current position (if any)

## Step 3: Buy Your First Token

1. On a token page, find the **Buy** panel
2. Enter the amount of SOL you want to spend
3. For **Ulysses** tokens: Enter your desired target price
4. Review the quote showing:
   * Tokens you'll receive
   * Applicable fees
   * Slippage tolerance
5. Click **Buy** and approve the transaction in your wallet

**What happens next:**

* Your tokens are locked in a Streamflow escrow
* They'll become sellable when the milestone target is hit and the unlock window opens
* You can view your position in **My Streams**

## Step 4: Monitor Your Position

1. Go to **My Streams** in the navigation
2. View all your active positions
3. For each stream, you'll see:
   * Token name and amount
   * Current price vs target price
   * Current phase (GRIND / FREEZE / UNLOCK)
   * Withdrawable amount (during unlock window)

## Step 5: Sell During the Unlock Window

When the milestone target is hit and the unlock window opens:

1. Go to your stream in **My Streams**
2. Click **Close Position** or **Sell**
3. Choose to:
   * Sell tokens for SOL directly, OR
   * Withdraw tokens to your wallet
4. Approve the transaction

**Tip:** Sell fees start at \~25% and decay to \~1% over the unlock window. Selling later in the window saves you money.

## Key Things to Remember

* **Tokens are locked** until the pool's milestone target is hit
* **Three phases**: GRIND (buy/hold) → FREEZE (wait) → UNLOCK (sell/withdraw)
* **1% limit** per token — excess goes to 134-day time-locked position (67-day cliff + 67-day vesting)
* **Sell fees decay** over the unlock window — patience pays

## Troubleshooting

### Transaction Failed

* Ensure you have enough SOL for fees
* Try increasing slippage tolerance

### Can't See My Tokens

* Tokens are in escrow, not your wallet
* Check **My Streams** to view your positions

### Can't Sell

* Check if the pool is in the UNLOCK phase
* Selling is only available during the unlock window
