When someone uses your code and trades on Streamlock, you earn a **share of the protocol's trading fee revenue** from their trades — paid in SOL. ``` Your referral buys a token → Protocol collects its buy fee → You receive 40% (buys) or 50% (sells) of the protocol's share → Paid in SOL, tracked in real-time ``` You never touch your referral's funds. Your effective tier is **Gold** — you get all Gold perks immediately. If you later sell the chip, you fall back to Bronze (your earned-points tier). This means holding an NFT is a commitment that rewards you, not a one-time shortcut. After that, the revenue share for that specific referral ends, but any earnings already accumulated are yours. **Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?** No limit. Each referral has a 5 SOL earning cap, but you can refer unlimited users. **Do points affect my fees?** Not yet. Everyone currently pays the same 1% settlement fee. Tier-based fee reductions (0.75% at Gold, 0.5% at Diamond+) are coming soon. **Can I lose my tier?** Your **points** only go up, so a points-earned tier can never decrease. However, if your tier is boosted by an NFT chip and you sell that chip, you fall back to your earned-points tier. You never lose the points themselves. **How does the NFT interact with points?** Holding a Genesis OG chip does two things: (1) guarantees a minimum tier equal to the chip's tier, and (2) multiplies all points you earn.
